ECDMA is delighted to announce an upcoming online webinar, “Unit Economics, Cohorts & Logistics Efficiency: Turning Growth into Profit,” featuring renowned foodtech entrepreneur and operations expert Kyrylo Kupin. Taking place on August 4, 2025, at 12:00 (UTC-5), this engaging session offers entrepreneurs, analysts, and operations leaders a unique chance to explore how data-driven models can transform delivery performance, refine business strategy, and convert rapid expansion into sustainable profit.

About the Speaker

Kyrylo Kupin, Co-Founder and Chief Manufacturing Officer at SIZL, leads one of Chicago’s most innovative foodtech startups, pioneering a new approach to dark kitchen networks and last-mile delivery systems. Under his leadership, SIZL handles over 20,000 retail orders annually through its fully integrated ERP system and in-house delivery service — a model that blends technology with operational excellence.

Before founding SIZL, Kyrylo served as Head of Maintenance at Local Kitchen, one of Eastern Europe’s largest dark kitchen networks, where he managed the technical infrastructure and performance of multiple production sites. His deep expertise in ERP-driven operations, logistics optimization, and cohort analysis has made him a recognized voice in building scalable, technology-powered delivery ecosystems.

Kyrylo is also an active participant in innovation summits and accelerator programs, where he mentors aspiring entrepreneurs and shares his insights on unit economics, operational efficiency, and startup scalability.

What to Expect

This webinar will provide a structured, practical framework for understanding and applying unit economics and cohort analysis in real business contexts. Participants will learn how to transform raw delivery data into a strategic decision-making system that directly drives profitability.

Key discussion topics include:

Understanding Unit Economics:
Discover how to measure profit per unit of action — from order to mile — and why segmented unit economics outperform averages. Learn how SIZL used this approach to cut costs, increase retention, and strengthen its bottom line.

Cohort Analysis in Delivery:
Explore how cohort data helps identify profitable customer groups, zones, and sales channels. Kyrylo will share case studies showing how SIZL improved customer retention and profitability through menu rotations and targeted campaigns.

Logistics Efficiency Through Data:
Gain practical insights into optimizing courier routes, reducing idle time, and increasing order density. Learn how SIZL’s proprietary courier app turned logistics data into a tool for sustainable growth.

Investor and Strategy Insights:
Understand how to communicate profitability through unit-level metrics, convincing stakeholders to prioritize real business health over inflated GMV figures.

Additional Insights

Participants will leave with a deeper understanding of how to align marketing, operations, and financial strategies around measurable performance indicators. The session is ideal for founders, operations managers, and analysts seeking to build or scale foodtech and e-commerce ventures on a solid financial foundation.
