E-commerce for Shopping Malls: A Threat or a New Window of Opportunity? Lecture by Pavel Domnin at RAU

The E-Commerce & Digital Marketing Association (ECDMA), in partnership with the Russian-Armenian University (RAU), will host a public online lecture titled “E-commerce for Shopping Malls: A Threat or a New Window of Opportunity?” on October 17 at 20:10 (Yerevan, UTC+4). The session will take place in Room 409 of RAU’s main building and will also be open to the wider audience via live stream.

The lecture will be delivered by Pavel Domnin, Head of Omnichannel Development and E-commerce at MEGA, who will explore how consumer habits and the role of shopping malls are changing in the digital era. He will discuss which omnichannel models are proving most effective in today’s retail landscape and how partnerships between shopping centers and e-commerce players can unlock new opportunities for growth.

The session will highlight the unique dynamics of e-commerce for shopping malls — a business model that does not rely on direct sales but instead creates an ecosystem and infrastructure that empower brands and retailers to thrive.

A regular speaker at SberUniversity and national conferences such as E-com Retail Week, Retail Tech, and Forbes, Pavel Domnin is also a co-author of academic publications on marketing, omnichannel strategy, and customer experience.
